The water contains TDS ( Total Dissolved Salts ) out these dissloved salts in water the Calcium & Magnesium causes Hardness in Water. Hardness will lead to frequent hair fall, skin colour deterioration, scale formation on plumbing fixtures, solar, geysers, washing machines, white formation ( salt deposits ) on washed utensils, etc.
Therefore, to remove the Hardness from water we use Water Softeners, which will remove the Calcium & Magnesium ions through a process called Ion Exchange.
