La rosa del deserto (Edenium) è la pianta che ho scelto in questa stagione nel mio giardino sul balcone. Le ragioni sono (1) ha un aspetto grazioso, (2) non richiede molta cura, (3) non ci sono gravi problemi di malattie o parassiti, (4) fiori bellissimi (5) non ci sono molti residui vegetali da smaltire, e la cosa più importante (6) richiede pochissima acqua.

Questo è un buon momento per piantare la rosa del deserto. È molto facile anche per l'uomo comune innestare questa pianta. Ci sono centinaia di varianti di fiori con diversi colori e sfumature. A seconda della scelta, la selezione della marza può essere fatta. Le barbatelle con più rami possono essere innestate da più marze.

In questa stagione 23 diversi tipi di fiori di piante di rosa del deserto sono state allevate nel giardino del balcone. Le piante sono state innestate all'inizio della stagione primaverile di quest'anno.

Cocopeat is a byproduct of coir industry. It is light in weight,porous and a well established planting medium. It is available as bricks-in hardened form or in loose form.

Cocopeat is mostly used for potted plants or as you said terrace gardening. It is mixed along with soil and natural-compost and this whole mixture is filled in pots or tubs or whatever structures you use for planting.

1. It is very light weight and allows aeration for roots- germination takes place faster
2. It has high moisture holding capacity..will not let water and nutrients leach away. Keeps plants moist especially in summers
3. It has a bit of antifungal properties,will not let algal/moss growth on top of the soil in high moisture areas.
4. Will not let soil hardening so that you need not repot the plants again and again.
5. 100% organic and produces strong root growth.
6. Lesser weeds and diseases..by reducing soil quantity,we can reduce weeds. As soil has weed seeds. Water logging at plant base is avoided thus reducing diseases.
7. Average pH of cocopeat is 5.2 -6.8 which is suitable for wide range of plants.

9 . Lightweight, odourless and very easy to handle.

They are extremely useful in your gardening and reduces your labour too.(less frequent watering and reporting)

PS:- it is not useful for plants growing on land directly. Si può riempire la trincea mentre si pianta per arbusti/alberi a parte questo, non è molto utile.
