Il bonsai più vecchio che ho visto in una mostra è stato segnalato per avere quasi 500 anni, tramandato da una famiglia giapponese, se fosse autentico non lo so, l'albero più vecchio che ho ha solo 45 anni, ho visto qualcuno affermare che un bonsai aveva oltre 1000 anni, ma non saprei come autenticare questo, o era una stima.
