Compost pit - pit used for preparing a compost.

How do we prepare compost at home:

1. Things required - a flowerpot, earth, water, biodegradable waste
2. Add the vegetable waste, food waste of the kitchen/ or any other biodegradable waste to flowerpot on daily basis.
3. Add a layer of earth and sprinkle water once a day.
4. Repeat the 2–3 steps until pot is full

After 1.5 month, compost will be ready to use (Depends upon the size of the pot).
