The dead leaves contain twice as many minerals as manure. Since most trees are deep rooted they absorb minerals and nutrients from the soil.

It just takes 14 days to recycle the dead leaves of plant into compost .

1. shred or grind the leaves .
2. Mix four parts ground leaves with one part of manure which is rich in nitrogen.
3. Turn the heap every three days .As the heap is very light u can turn the leaves up and down easily.
4. Its better to cover the leaves with a plastic cloth to avoid excess drying of leaves and keep the warmth .
5. While turning the leaves add little bit of water if u feel to much dryness .
6. After fourteen days use that mixture as compost .
