You need to take care of proper nutrition and aeration in the pots + sufficient amount of sunlight.

In our case, we use cocopeat instead of soil and so aeration is taken care of. Also, we do not need to bother about weeds because of the same. We give nutrients to plants every week and water them twice a week (in our case they are in shaded area in Bangalore weather)
