Lavender requires a good deal of sunlight but can be grown indoors if there is ample sunlight. The potting soil should be free draining, and the plants should not be too often watered. The roots do not enjoy wet conditions at all and will often fail to thrive or will die if they become waterlogged. Minimal plant food is needed with the Lavandulas.
