The answer greatly depends on three things:

1. Location of the tea stall (ideal locations would be near hostels, offices, or railway stations)
2. Quality of ingredients used to make tea, and
3. Size of the tea stall (tiny, small, or medium with place to sit inside and have the tea, etc.)

To a smaller extent, it depends on accessories sold with tea (biscuits, cigarettes). Those can boost sales by a percentage.

So, let’s say a tea seller near a hostel sells tea for Rs.5/cup (and assuming that he doesn’t use very high quality ingredients, the cost to make would be Rs. 1.5–3.5/unit).

Assuming that he sells 500 - 1,000 cups of tea a day:

Cost to make 500 cups: Rs. 1.5*500 = Rs. 750

Selling price of 500 cups: Rs. 5*500 = Rs. 2,500

Profit: Rs. 2.500 - Rs. 750 = Rs. 1.750 al giorno.

Anche se, vi posso assicurare che i venditori di tè venderanno sicuramente più di 500 tazze di tè al giorno anche se si trovano vicino a una delle località che ho menzionato precedentemente.
