If you’re in the US, I think it might be a Corn Earworm, Helicoverpa zea, but I’m not completely sure, because this species comes in a wide range of colors and changes color as it ages.

I think your bug looks a lot like the Corn Earworm in this picture:

from the Missouri Botanical Garden.

The other bright green caterpillar that eats tomato plants is a Tomato Hornworm, Manduca quinquemaculata, but they have an odd little spike coming off the rear section of the caterpillar, and the one in your picture doesn’t. Vedi questa foto di Amanda Hill:
