The first photo appears to be a seed pod for either a locust tree or a mesquite tree. Most likely a black locust. There are several species of each, so you need to find the tree and identify it from there.

The second photo is one of the Echeveria species. There are over 150 species of the leafy-succulent genus, Echeveria. Several look similar to that. Yours looks like Echeveria prolifica, but to know for sure which one that is might take waiting to see the bloom.

PS After discussing this with a botanist from Asia, Sevvel Sundaramoorthy, he identified the tree as Albizia saman or a closely related species commonly known as Rain tree and monkeypod Tree. The leaves and range certainly match and the seed pods are similar. So likely he is right and this is a local variation. Hope that helps.
