Air temperatures between 18degreesC and 28 degreesC
Humidity levels of between 40 and 65 percent
Easily draining, fertile, and highly aerated soil/growing medium
Gentle breezes for ventilation
Relatively dry soil conditions but no period of drought
Very high levels of direct light with, in flowering, a high level of warm spectrum light (sunlight, ultimately, is best)
An environment relatively free of pests that feed on the plant (including rabbits, deer, caterpillars, spidermites, mice, rats)
A secure environment, safe from thieves and (in some countries) law enforcement
A dedicated and loving gardener
