It’s light photons that power the processes of photosynthesis. As long as there are enough of them, it doesn’t matter to the plants where the photons come from. So if you can supply enough photons with electric light sources, you can grow any plant indoors.

Also, plants that grow well indoors - what we usually call houseplants - are plants that are native to shady areas, tropical forest floors, where they have become adapted to lower light levels. This, plus their being tropical so that they are content with warm conditions inside our homes, has fit them to being indoor plants.
