Naagdon è scientificamente conosciuto come Euphorbia tithymaloides (= Pedilanthus tithymaloides) e appartiene alla famiglia delle Euphorbiaceae delle piante da fiore. È un arbusto perenne originario del Nord e Centro America. Viene coltivato come pianta da siepe comune nei giardini. Viene anche coltivata come pianta ornamentale. Naagdon is a very common plant and mainly used as an ornamental plant because of its dark green stem and leaves. This plant propagates through stem cuttings. You may have noticed this herb on hedges. Generally, plants that produce latex are poisonous but this medicinal herb is non-toxic.
