you can grow anything in a container if the container is large enough. However, here are my 3 favorites:

1. Herbs - You can grow just about any herb in a pot. I have grown basil, chives, mint, anise, fennel and so much more. In fact, I only grow my herbs in pots because herbs go a long way and you don’t need a lot of them.
2. Lettuce/Greens - Lettuce and various other greens, think spinach and kale here, are very easy to grow, especially in zone 7a here in NJ where we have fluctuations in temperatures and seasons. You can easily grow a lot of lettuce and greens in smaller pots which help save on space.
3. Radish - Radish is easy to grow whether you do it in a container or a garden bed. They grow fast (roughly 45 days), and do not require a lot of maintenance or space.
