NCERT dovrà apportare modifiche ai libri di testo in conformità con il nuovo NCF. Il nuovo NCF dovrebbe essere pronto entro marzo 2021, ha detto il ministero HRD in una dichiarazione.

• I have read the entire new edition and here are the changes that caught my eye:

1. The credit for the the name ‘virus’ has been given to Iwanowsky instead of Pasteur (Pg.26) Class 11

2. This is a slightly different diagram from the one in the previous edition (Pg.136) Class 11

3. The line which said ‘Midbrain and hindbrain form the brain stem’ has been deleted (Pg.321) Class 11

4. The line ‘However, there are few exceptions…..’ has been added (Pg.167) Class 11

5. Baccilus bacteria, which was previously mentioned has been cut (Pg.202) Class 11

6. The specific epithet ‘hysterophorus’ which was previously not mentioned has been added (Pg.228) Class 12

7. The word ‘air’ has been added along with ambient in the 5th line (Pg.224) Class 12

8. The line ‘please refer to page 289’ has been deleted (Pg.90 ) Class 12.

9. 'Homo erectus circa 1,5 mya' è stato aggiunto (Pg.140) Classe 12

10. Il distoma epatico umano, che nell'edizione precedente era indicato erroneamente come 'nematode', è stato corretto in 'trematode' (Pg.235) Classe 12

11. Il valore di 19,4% è stato aggiornato a 21,54% nella nuova edizione (Pg.284) Classe 12

12. L'ortografia che prima era 'Udorina' è stata cambiata in 'Eudorina' (Pg.30) Classe 11

13. Questa tabella è stata aggiornata nella nuova edizione (Pg.273) Classe 12
