Questa è un'ipotesi, ma penso che possano tornare al loro stato naturale. Questo è un evento piuttosto comune con le piante ibridate. Le petunie del tipo comune hanno strisce piuttosto che il modello nella tua varietà. Nel corso degli anni ho acquistato molte belle piante da fiore solo per farle impazzire, il che si traduce in fiori tipicamente insignificanti da quel punto in poi.

Night Sky petunias sometimes revert to stripes. In this photo from Sugar Creek Gardens St Louis Garden Center and Nursery you can see that some flowers are specked like they’re supposed to be, but others have the beginnings of stripes.
It might have to do with growing conditions, but I suspect it’s that some branches of the plant lose the variegation. It often happens on variegated foliage plants that one branch becomes entirely green. This may be the same sort of thing.
