Hey There OPey
As you can see it not hard (I couldn’t do it). Rather than describe the method here are 2 YouTubes that should what you need to do.
For those that like written directions:[1]
I. Sterilize your mason jar. My wife likes to use actual mason jars, but really any old wide-mouthed glass jar will do (some say plastic is okay, but I don’t think you can really sterilize them).
II. Rinse, really rinse, your beans. Put ~½ to ⅔ cup of the beans into a clean dish/bowl and keep rinsing them with clean until the water runs clear. Since dried beans are seeds just about any dried bean, or “legume,” is okay for sprouting. Here are some we’ve tried and like
III. Cover the beans with fresh water. Put the beans into the glass jar. Fill the jar the rest of the way with clean room temperature water. Rubber band a piece of cheesecloth, or even a clean towel, over the mouth of the jar. Let them soak overnight.
IV. Drain and rinse the beans. Then rubber band the cheese cloth back in place
V. Lay the mason jar over on its side. This gets the beans spread out and helps them stay away from pooled water.
VI. Put the beans in the dark, at room temp.
VII. Water and drain twice a day.
VIII. Let them grow to desired length, then rinse and eat.
Ciao.

[1] http://How to Grow Bean Sprouts Indoors (https://www.wikihow.com/Grow-Bean-Sprouts-Indoors)Mung means, grown as bean sprouts, are so easy and quick. I grow them in a 32 ounce glass jar (like an old mayonnaise jar). Buy seeds from a source that tests their seeds for pathogens. For about 2 cups of sprouts, use 3 tablespoons of seeds.
First, rinse the seeds really well. Place dampened seeds in a clean jar, and cover with cheesecloth or a paper towel. They don’t need strong light, just what’s available near the kitchen sink.
Rinse the seeds a few times each day. This gets rid of fouled water and old husks, but some of the husks will remain, and that’s okay. They’re ready to use, after rinsing, of course, within a few days to a week, after a shoot emerges, but before leaves expand.
